DANCENSATIONS: Building Dreams, Making Dancers

Dancensations Dance Center, under the direction of Pat Hawkes and Gloria Hampton, has been providing excellence in dance and gymnastics training for more than 17 years. As a leader in dance instruction in the Northern Virginia region, our studio offers classes to all ages and abilities in various styles of dance and gymnastics. We provide our students with a nurturing environment that fosters learning and growth through classes and performance experience.

NEW DDC USA COMPETITIVE GYMNASTICS TEAM
Dancensations is proud to introduce a new USA Competitive Gymnastics Team. This team consists of all levels, including a Young Training Group to help students prepare for future team and Pre-Team. Girls aged 3-14 years are welcome. Our coaches are USA-Certified in all necessary Junior Olympic Areas, including being USA Safety Certified. We offer a very flexible schedule to meet the needs of our students. Boys classes are also available. Click here for more information.

Also introducing a NEW Parent/Tot Gymnastics class. Weekday and weekend classes are taught by a USA-Certified and USA-Preschool Certified Gymnastics instructor. These one-hour classes consist of exercise, coordination, group activities, gymnastics skills, and lots of fun! Parents will learn how to help their child increase physical and social skills. Exciting News About Some of Our Students... Rebecca Walker recently received the "Best Female Dancer" award at the Cappies (the regional high school awards for excellence in theater.) This is the fourth consecutive year a Dancensations’ dancer has received this award. Congratulations Rebecca!	Congratulations to our graduating seniors- Emily Brown, Chloe Eggleston, Amanda Humbertson, Kaitlyn Potts, and Spencer Ramirez! We wish them the best of luck as they begin their new endeavors.
Ms. Melanie's For life group raised over $1,300 for the Susan B Komen Foundation. The group has been performing the dance "For Life" and raising awareness about breast cancer at competitions throughout the area. On Saturday June 7th, the group walked in the Race for Cure in Washington DC. With the help of the girls and people like you we can find a cure for this deadly disease.
